Good sliding and wear properties, impact and bending strength, chemical and electrical resistance, low friction, weldable and cold resistant.
Very tough, with high impact and abrasion resistance, very low friction, self-lubrication and resistance to many corrosive chemicals.
Balanced polyamide properties with high impact strength, mechanical stability and damping. Absorbs more moisture than cast variants.
High stiffness, strength and toughness, good sliding and wear properties, resistant to many oils, greases and fuels; weldable and bondable.
High mechanical strength, hardness, rigidity and toughness, high damping, fatigue resistance and very high wear resistance.
Very high wear resistance and low dry-running friction. Integrated lubrication reduces frictional heat and stick-slip and raises peak loading.
Strong, rigid acetal copolymer with low friction, wear resistance, low moisture absorption, creep resistance, dimensional stability and good machinability.
High strength, rigidity and hardness, low moisture absorption, dimensional stability, low sliding friction and wear, hydrolysis resistance to approximately 70 °C.
Low density, very low water absorption, excellent chemical and corrosion resistance, high surface hardness and electrical insulation. Not recommended for sliding duty; not UV resistant unless modified.
Excellent sliding and anti-adhesive properties, very high chemical resistance, operating range stated as −200 °C to +260 °C, no moisture absorption. Mechanical strength is comparatively low.
